“The Lawn Chair” (c. 1976) is reminiscent of summer time picnics, a day at the lake, backyard BBQs, plastic kiddie pools, and fireworks on the 4th of July. The chair is also remembered for being more portable than comfortable. Notwithstanding the stinging hot metal and the sticky nylon straps, there was no better way to enjoy a lemonade, iced tea, or a cold brew.
