“Circus Popcorn” (c. 1956) was the concession of choice when the Ringling Brothers came to town. Spectators filed into the big top tent to witness the Greatest Show on Earth featuring elephants, clown cars, trapeze artists, and the bearded lady. Between “ooohs” and “ahhhhs” patrons stuffed their faces with the fresh popped corn and washed it down with classic coke.
